This is the area that has most potential for development, as the country has 80 million hectares of arable land. The soil is fertile for a wide variety of crops, such as coffee, palm oil, rubber, cotton, sugar, tea, cocoa, cassava, plantains, maize, groundnuts, and rice; which all tend to grow fast and well.
Competition on the mobile telephone market is scarce; the two major companies are MTN and AIRTEL, which dominate the market, while AZUR and CONGO TELECOM are left with a marginal role. The main internet providers are AMC, WIFLY, MTN, AIRTEL and CONGO TELECOM, the latter being the only optic fiber provider in the country.
Tourism
