The highest concentration is in the Mayombe and Chaillu Massifs of the Southern and Congo\u2019s northern regions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fefe49f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fefe49f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This vast area is habitat to some 10.000 flora species, quite dense and diverse enough if compared to the approximated 30.000 in the entire African tropic regions. However, given the global threat to earth&#8217;s biodiversity which has and continues to consume most of the world&#8217;s forests, Congo\u2019s flora habitat has been a victim as well. Logging, hunting, farming, and all other similar activities are nourished by the rich forest deposits. Some of its common species include Coconut Palms, Walnut, Softwood, Terminalia Superba Engl. &amp; Diels also known as Limba (hardwood), and a wide variety of herbaceous species.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-980640a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"980640a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Most rural areas rely very much on natural herbs produced extracted from different plants, prepared, and even sold in several Congolese markets. A good example is the Ongokea gore, whose stem back is considered a very effective remedy for splenomegaly.
